Match report Organisational difficulties resulted in the match being reduced to 16 overs a side and played on an artificial strip. Not ideal, but the same for both teams. TH won the toss and batted reaching 117 for 4 off 12 overs before three outstanding overs yielded only 6 runs for 4 wickets as the TH batting ran out. Fielding honours go to Finlay CB with 3 excellent catches and 2 wickets and Saurav with 3 wickets, a catch and 2 run outs. However, above all, this was a team performance in the field with excellent catching, outfielding and backing up.

In reply, Wanstead lost Saurav early before Niaal (18 off 10)and Feroze (48 off 21)took the total to 86 off 7 overs. Finlay CB and Jayden then saw the side home with 22no and 33no respectively. Batting honours go to Feroze for his sustained effort and to a typical Jayden innings of 33 off 11 deliveries! Once again, the batting performance was excellent, the highlight being the consistent rotation of the strike by Feroze and Finlay CB with 17 singles in a stand of 47.

Overall, an excellent, mature and clinical performance with the only downside being the extras total of 21. A great start to the T20 campaign.
