Match report The U11s qualified for the quarter finals of the Haydn Davis trophy with our fifth win out of five in the group stages. This wasn't easy as we managed to insert ourselves to bat on a wet pitch...which then dried out a bit, but didn't get a lot easier. We got 92, which caused a bit of concern, as we aren't used to scoring less than about 140 this season batting first.

We needn't have worried, as the slow pitch was perfect for our accurate spinners who reduced Ilford to 5/3 off 5 overs. The damage was done. They reached 71 by the close, and we await news of who we face in the quarter final with interest.
