Match report Haydn Davis Cup game v Frenford this morning at the immaculate Overton. We batted first, and more "seasoned" observers commented that we got the highest score ever by a Wanstead U11 side - 187-2 off 20 overs (anyone remember a higher one?). This eventually led to a 114 run win. Most pleasing is that everyone bowled, and bowled tightly; and 5 batsmen got over 20. The team hit 27 boundaries in total, which is quite a few when you think there are only 120 deliveries to choose from. Huge credit to Frenford for sticking at it in the field, with several excellent stops.
