Match report The ladies won the toss and decided to bat first.

Saba and Neha opened the batting and got off to a great start with 14 runs in the first over followed by another 9 in the second. 10 an over was the target as we knew that this team can chase! Neha got caught on 22 and skip retired on 25. In came Natasha and Victoria with screams of 'just hit and run' from the sidelines they got the total to a defendable 92-3 after 10 overs.

Knowing there was some work to be done, Colchester were cruising with 10-12 runs an over up until the 6th over! Some tight bowling by Nafeesa and Dipti restricted them to 48 after 5 overs.

Needing only 13 runs to win off the last 2 overs, skip gave Neha a bowl and whispered 'just leave me some runs to play with!' Not one to disappoint, Neha bowled 3 dots and only gave away 7 runs in the 9th over. Now needing only 6 to win, skip decided to take the pressure on with everyone nervous as hell. Luckily skip managed to bowl a few dots and get a wicket and gave away 3 runs leaving Colchester with only 3 to win. It was bowled and Natasha was ready behind the stumps, it was a swing and a miss by the batsman and then they decided to run. Some quick thinking by Natasha who threw the ball back to the skip and got a run out! *Phew*

What a tense game, it was always going to be tight. Well done ladies on making the final against Bentley on Monday 15th Dec at 9pm.
