We are pleased to announce that we are planning our next Cricket Tour, which is a 14-night trip to Sri Lanka leaving on Thursday 18th October 2018, costing £2,300 per person. It is set to be another incredible trip!
To factor in School Teachers and those with a strict budget there is 9-night option also flying out Thursday 18th October and coming back on Sunday 28th October (late flight) for £1,800. · The Foundation of Goodness:
We are very pleased to advise that we are in dialogue with the Foundation of Goodness on delivering coaching and workshop for them. The charity based in Seenigama village near Hikkaduwa has worked relentlessly to improve the lives and livelihoods of many thousands of people. The Foundation of Goodness was set up by Kushil Gunasekera whose family came from Seenigama. The aim was to give holistic support to the poor rural community to bridge the gap between the rural and urban sectors.
When the Tsunami struck in 2004, Kushil gifted what was left of his ancestral home and garden to the village, setting up firstly an emergency centre and then, with sponsorship from the Marylebone Cricket Club, developing the MCC Centre of Excellence, which is now the hub of the Foundation of Goodness's work. The Post-Tsunami international funding has provided facilities and opportunities which have been open to all free of charge and have benefitted around 20,000 villagers in about 25 villages.
· The Cost:
We are delighted that the cost has been hugely discounted from
£3,300 per person to £2,300 per person. The breakdown of payments is as follows:
§ £250 by Monday 30th October 2017
§ £400 by Sunday 10th December 2017
§ £400 by Sunday 4th March 2018
§ £450 by Sunday 10th June 2018
